Rep. Ami Bera announces Sacramento County Congress at Your Company Tour
Rep. Ami Bera, M.D. (CA-7) will visit several local businesses during his Congress at Your Company Tour next week, July 1-7. He will tour facilities and meet with business owners and employees to discuss what Congress can do to help businesses grow and thrive in the 21st century global economy. Job creation and rebuilding an economy that works for Sacramento County middle class families are Rep. Bera’s top priorities in Congress.
“Sacramento County is slowly regaining jobs, but the work is far from over,” said Bera. “We must attract more high-tech jobs to the region, improve our infrastructure, and maintain high-quality schools to educate the next generation of innovators. I’m looking forward to these meetings with pioneering and important businesses from our region, and I hope to hear new ideas about how we can grow our economy and create jobs.”

Siemens Rail Systems- Monday, July 1, 2013 – Starting off as a final assembly plant, the Rail Systems Division of Siemens is headquartered in Sacramento and now designs, engineers, and manufactures light rail vehicles, streetcars, and electric locomotives for North America.
Aerojet Rocketdyne- Monday, July 1, 2013 - Aerojet Rocketdyne recently became California’s 7th Congressional district’s largest employer. Headquartered in Rancho Cordova, Aerojet Rocketdyne is a world-recognized aerospace and defense leader providing propulsion and energetics to the space, missile defense, strategic, tactical missile and armaments areas in support of domestic and international markets.
