Invite: Federal Grant Resources Workshop on September 1st
![]() I often hold workshops and events in Sacramento County to help connect local residents with resources and assistance. |
The federal government regularly awards grants to states, local governments, and other organizations to help pay for projects that assist local communities. Federal grant funding is an important opportunity to make government work for Sacramento County and bring money to our region that gives our economy a boost. However, successfully applying for a grant can be a complicated process and the competition can be fierce.
To help navigate these challenges my office is hosting a grant workshop. A representative from my office will present our Grant Resource Guide and a data specialist from the U.S. Census Bureau will be there to discuss how organizations can take advantage of public data to improve their chances of successfully competing for a grant.
