Rep. Ami Bera urged Congress today to work to find a bipartisan budget agreement. After signing onto a resolution asking Speaker Boehner to appoint budget conferees, Bera made a speech on the house floor about Congress’ responsibility to pass a budget.

Amendment part of Cybersecurity Enhancement Act
Earlier today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Cybersecurity Enhancement Act, which included an amendment from Representative Ami Bera that will ensure the recruitment of military veterans for our cybersecurity workforce. The bill will also help coordinate research and related activities conducted across the Federal agencies to better address evolving cyber threats.
