‘Racism and Xenophobia have no place in America,’ Bera said
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Ami Bera (CA-7) released the following statement after a fatal attack on two Indian Americans in Kansas.
According to reports, the shooter said “get out of my country” before opening fire on the two men, both engineers at Garmin Ltd., killing 32-year-old Srinivas Kuchibhotla and injuring Alok Madasani and Ian Grillot.
Bera serving third term on Science, Space and Technology Committee

Bera has served on the subcommittee since being elected in 2013 to the 113th Congress.
