U.S. Representative Ami Bera, M.D. (CA-06) announced today that his office has now recovered more than $18 million in federal casework dollars to residents of California’s 6^th Congressional District.

Since taking office in 2013, Congressman Bera’s dedicated team of caseworkers have successfully resolved more than 28,400 cases for constituents, resulting in the return of over $18.1 million dollars in federal benefits. These funds have been secured by assisting constituents in retrieving their backlogged veterans’ benefits, expediting delayed tax refunds, resolving issues with Social Security and Medicare payments, and more.
