FY 2027 Requests
Register HERE for Congressman Bera’s Community Project Funding Webinar on March 3 at 1PM!
Programmatic and Language Requests
Every year, Congressman Bera has the opportunity to advocate for overall funding of federal programs and grants that support California’s 6th District through the annual appropriations process. If your organization participates in any federally funded programs, Rep. Bera can advocate to maintain or increase the total funding for these grants.
Please click here to submit programmatic and language requests. If you have multiple requests, please submit a separate form for each request. Our office is accepting these requests on a rolling basis and will provide a deadline once we receive final guidance from the Appropriations Committee. Please note that these appropriations requests cannot guarantee funding for any specific entity or project and requests must comply with all current House rules.
Individual requests will only be accepted through this form. However, if you are asking Rep. Bera to join a multi-member letter requesting funding, please reach out to the relevant policy staffer to share this request.
Community Project Funding
Please be aware that the House Appropriations Committee may release additional guidelines for FY2027 Community Project Funding for eligible subcommittees so our office may update our guidelines accordingly.
Congressman Bera will have the opportunity to submit Community Project Funding requests to support highly qualified, local projects to the Appropriations Committee for consideration of direct federal funding. Each Member of Congress may be able to only submit 20 requests for Community Project Funding. Funding will be made available depending on the general appropriations process and we cannot guarantee that CPFs will be included in a final FY2027 bill or continuing resolution.
Please click here to submit CPF requests.
In the past, eligible recipients of Community Project Funding include state, local, and tribal governments; publicly owned entities (e.g. universities, public utility districts, etc.); and registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
