As you may have heard, the U.S. Senate just passed a bill that would make daylight savings time permanent. If signed into law, this would mean no more moving our clocks forward or backwards. Getting a flu shot remains the single best way to protect yourself and your loved ones against the flu. As a doctor and former Chief Medical Officer for Sacramento County, I encourage everyone ages six months and older to get an annual flu vaccine.
