SACRAMENTO, CA — Today, Representative Ami Bera, M.D. (CA-06) released a statement condemning the stabbing attack on Mr. Singh, a Sacramento resident and Sikh truck driver who was stabbed 17 times at a rest stop in Wyoming: 

“I’m horrified by the brutal attack on Mr. Singh, a Sikh truck driver and member of our Sacramento community who was stabbed 17 times at a rest stop in Wyoming. I’m praying for his full recovery and grateful to the family whose quick actions helped save his life.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Representative Ami Bera, M.D. (CA-06) released the following statement on his vote against H.R. 5334:

“I have a long history of standing with the Ukrainian people as they courageously defend their homeland against Vladimir Putin’s illegal invasion. I continue to support providing Ukraine with the resources, weapons, and ammunition it needs to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
