Washington, D.C. — Today, Representative Ami Bera, M.D. (CA-06) released the following statement after voting to release the Epstein files: 

"This effort has always been about achieving justice and accountability for the victims of Jeffrey Epstein’s horrific crimes. I voted to release the Epstein files because the American people deserve the truth. We must finally bring the full extent of Epstein’s abuse to light and hold those responsible to account."
