No Labels is a fast-growing movement of more than half a million citizens across the country who are committed to a new politics of problem solving. Since its inception in 2010, No Labels has worked toward consensus building and finding solutions to the nation's pressing problems.

In 2013 they introduced the Problem Solvers, a bipartisan group of members of Congress who meet regularly with their colleagues from across the aisle to build trust and solve problems. Bera is a leader of the No Labels' Problem Solvers, and has helped grow the group from 40 to of 94 members. The Problem Solvers coalition is the only large-scale organized forum on Capitol Hill for rank-and-file members to discuss issues with colleagues of the other party.

"We need to work together regardless of party to put the interests of the American people first," said Bera. "That's why earlier this year, we announced an ambitious goal of creating a national strategic agenda, a game plan for how we move America forward. Key to making this plan work is including input from local government leaders, business and community leaders, and citizen leaders, most who already work regularly with people they don't always agree with for the good of a greater cause. Today's events will ensure that voices from Sacramento County will be a part of our plan."
