Congressman Ami Bera (D–CA) released the following statement on the Continuing Resolution that will fund the U.S. government until January: "This is not how you run a government. Instead of sitting down and working in the best interest of the American people, Washington keeps kicking the can down the road. This Continuing Resolution leaves critical issues unresolved and will only fund the government until January 19. Until lawmakers set aside partisan bickering and work together, Washington will continue to lurch from one crisis to another." ### |
