Today, Representatives Ami Bera, M.D. (D-CA) and Young Kim (R-CA), Ranking Member and Chairwoman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Indo-Pacific, and Gregory W. Meeks (D-NY) and Michael McCaul (R-TX), Ranking Member and Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, introduced a House resolution welcoming Prime Minister Kishida Fumio to the United States for a state visit and joint address to Congress, and underscoring the importance of the U.S.-Japan alliance for ensuring peace and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.
