Today, Representative Ami Bera, M.D. (CA-06) announced that his guest to Tuesday’s presidential address to a joint session of Congress will be Sacramento Area Firefighters Local 522 President John “Trevor” Jamison. Jamison serves as a Captain/Paramedic on Engine 23 for the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, where he has worked since 2004. He has been recognized for his dedication to public service, receiving a Peer Recognition Award in 2019 and the Fire Chief’s Commendation for Distinguished Service in 2008.
