American Rescue Plan

What is the American Rescue Plan?

The economic and health crisis created by the COVID-19 pandemic has left millions of Americans struggling and in need of assistance. In February of 2021, Congress introduced American Rescue Plan, which I was proud to vote to pass through the House of Representatives. On March 11th, 2021, The American Rescue Plan was signed into law by President Joe Biden.
The American Rescue Plan has already helped get vaccines into the arms of millions of Americans, and has helped get people back to work and our kids safely back to the classroom.
Here locally, Sacramento County has received millions in funding from the American Rescue Plan that will go towards creating jobs and supporting local small businesses, while advancing public health measures to keep our region safe.
