Getting a flu shot remains the single best way to protect yourself and your loved ones against the flu.
As a doctor and former Chief Medical Officer for Sacramento County, I encourage everyone ages six months and older to get an annual flu vaccine. I just got my flu shot - it was safe, quick, and easy!
Dear Friend, Getting a flu shot remains the single best way to protect yourself and your loved ones against the flu. And according to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), it's more important than ever to get your flu shot as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to put an enormous strain on our health care systems. As a doctor and former Chief Medical Officer for Sacramento County, I encourage everyone ages six months and older to get an annual flu vaccine. I just got my flu shot - it was safe, quick, and easy!
If you weren't aware, Sacramento County is offering free flu clinics throughout the months of October and November. Click here to find a free flu clinic near your. As we head into the colder fall and winter months, it's imperative that we remain vigilant by taking preventative measures to keep safe.
