SACRAMENTO, CA — Today, Representative Ami Bera (CA-06) issued the following statement marking two years since the October 7th terror attack on Israel:

“Two years ago today, Hamas terrorists carried out a brutal and unconscionable attack on Israel, murdering nearly 1,200 innocent people — including 46 Americans — and taking hundreds hostage. That day’s horror and trauma still reverberate for Israelis, Jewish communities around the world, and all who believe in peace and human dignity.

Sacramento, CA — Today, Representative Ami Bera, M.D. (CA-06) condemned the Trump Administration’s revocation of a $50 million federal grant awarded to the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) for its Connected Clean PowerCity® project, a major initiative to modernize the electric grid and help the Sacramento region reach zero carbon emissions by 2030.
