SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA — Today, U.S. Representative Ami Bera, M.D. (CA-06) issued a statement following the Supreme Court’s 6-3 ruling striking down President Trump’s tariff policy:
“The Supreme Court got it right today.
“President Trump never had the power to impose these sweeping tariffs that raised costs for working families, hurt small businesses, and strained our alliances around the world.
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA – Representative Ami Bera, M.D. (CA-07) announced today that the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) awarded $2 million in grant funding to Carmichael Water District (CWD) to help fund the construction of the Engle/Garfield Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) Well Project. The support of Representative Bera was essential in securing the drought resiliency funding for CWD.
Today, Representative Ami Bera, M.D. (CA-07) announced that he helped secure $735,000 for three Sacramento-area community funding projects meant to bolster our region's access to a safe and reliable water supply.
Funding for these projects were included in the House Energy and Water Development, and Interior-Environment Fiscal Year 2022 Appropriations bills, which passed the House of Representatives today.
