Today, Rep. Ami Bera (CA-07), was named the Vice Ranking Member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, a new deputy position.

The new Vice Ranking Member positions are intended to better harness emerging leaders in order to strengthen the fight on behalf of hard-working Americans.

The resolution would put the U.S. House of Representatives officially on record in support of India's bid and has seven original cosponsors.
