The Health Impacts of Climate Change with Rep. Ami Bera

The Office of Rep. Ami Bera is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 3:00pm - 4:30pm PST on climate change and its impacts on our health. The event will feature guest speakers, presentations, and a series of Q&A.
I'm hosting a 2020 Census virtual workshop on Thursday, September 3 from 3:30-4:30 PM PT.
The workshop will cover the importance of data in the Census, the impact on our community, and local resources available through the Census Bureau. Also hear from local partners on how to receive help filling out the Census.

Coronavirus Update:
While the threat of the coronavirus is relatively low in the United States at this time, we must be vigilant and prepared.
That's why I hosted the first congressional hearing on the coronavirus outbreak this month. We hosted expert health officials who discussed how the U.S. can best respond to this growing public health threat.
I wanted to take a moment to update you on the work we've done this year to help families and seniors across Sacramento County.
I'm proud to announce that my Sacramento office has helped nearly 2,000 people recover over $1.4 million owed to taxpayers in this year alone. That's hard-earned money right back into the pockets of Sacramento families, helping our region's economy.
I'm holding a town hall on Wednesday, January 22nd at the Community Services District Headquarters in Elk Grove. This is an opportunity to give you an update and talk about the issues that matter most to Sacramento County.

Every day I hear concerns about scam robocalls and fraud schemes. Scammers target people, especially seniors, with schemes that can rob them of their hard-earned savings. It's crucial for Sacramento County residents to be aware of these scams and to take steps to protect savings.
